The Design Process
An initial visit to the garden in the form of a consultation
This enables the client to share their hopes and dreams for the garden and to discuss the possible pathways to achieving their goals. Advice is given on design options, practical solutions, plants, possible materials and the best method for realising the client’s ideas.
2. A written estimate is given by WR
This is for a survey, further exploratory discussions and for initial sketch ideas to be discussed together. These ideas are agreed upon and can then be drawn up in order that they can be costed by an approved contractor. The stages are priced individually: this gives the client as good an understanding as possible of the design costs.
3. Options given for WR to manage the project from start to finish
This includes the recommending of contractors, the tendering process, management of the works, keeing the client updated, right through to the planting up of a scheme.
